In her studio in the beautiful foothills of southwest Colorado’s San Juan Mountains, René creates distinctive handcrafted Horse and Burro themed stoneware pottery. The inspiration for the name of her business comes from her wild, adopted BLM burro Capt. Call , who has become an accomplished Pack Burro Racer and the World Champion of the 2019 Fairplay short course. Combining her love of horses and burros with her passion for creating with clay , René offers unique products to help you Celebrate the Horses and Burros that helped form the great American West!
