Inspired by the fight against plastic waste, in 2021 New Way Refillery was born, and in June 2023, New Way became customer owned!
We are on a mission to empower western Colorado residents to reduce their single-use waste while offering healthy and sustainable alternatives for their everyday needs.
When you step into New Way Refillery expect to feel a sense of ease. We often hear first time visitors say with relief, “Ahhh something like this does exist in Grand Junction!” We are here to help tackle the mental (and physical) burden of the continuous supply of plastic disposables in your everyday life.
At New Way Refillery, we take the time to research ingredients for you, allowing you to focus on quality moments with your family or enjoying the great outdoors. Whether you prefer a hands-on, self-service approach or the convenience of full service, we strive to provide an enjoyable experience. Our goal is to build a sense of community by bringing together like-minded individuals through engaging workshops and events. New Way Refillery is more than just a store; it’s a destination on your sustainable living journey.
What started in a van in 2021 as a mobile refillery has blossomed into a robust low-waste storefront with a loyal customer base of environmentalists, outdoor enthusiasts, hippies, students, and just concerned parents and grandparents. We are thrilled that more of “our people” are finding us every day.
Thank you for shopping small and making the refillery (hi!), farm stand, bakery, and other local businesses part of your routine.
Stop by the store today and join us in refilling, reducing, and rethinking our way to a healthier planet, one reusable container at a time.
