As a family living in the dry climate of Western Colorado, we understand how hard it can be to keep your skin soft and moisturized without using highly processed chemicals. We also wanted to take advantage of one of our most accessible and sustainable local resources—beef! That’s why we started making our own tallow-based skincare products!
We believe in using only simple, natural ingredients—If we won’t eat it, we won’t put it on our skin!
We like to support our community—A majority of our ingredients are sourced locally through Western Slope Colorado-based ranchers, vendors and businesses.
We render suet into tallow and strain it through unbleached paper. All of our suet is sourced from one regenerative farm located here on the Western Slope of Colorado. Some of our products are mixed with extra virgin olive oil and beeswax to make balm or slightly whipped for a softer texture. That’s it! No long list of added chemicals to deodorize or preserve, no heavy-duty equipment needed. Just low-tech, natural, effective skincare the way it should be.
