Mutant Bike Fest! 2026

Build your own mutant bike!

Use any materials, anything that will hold a couple wheels! And the least amount of actual bike parts the better!

Get creative, get stoked, have a great time!!

Basic expectations:

• Your craft must have brakes; can be coaster (pedal backward) or hand brake!
• Must be only pedal generated speed: NO E-BIKES! NO GAS ENGINES!
• Should be built solid enough to hold the rider’s weight+ (and anything else they decide to carry) and travel at least 10 miles.
• There will be a safety inspection of your mutant before take off! This will include checking tires, checking brakes, checking chain as well as any cables which should be routed logically.
• Lights, reflectors or high-visibility add-ons are encouraged.

Once we meet at the set location (655 Struthers Ave parking lot), we will do a tour through town. There may be some additional stops, technical courses, and scavenger hunts. More TBA!!
